Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the national space agency, is mandated to conduct R&D in space science, space technology, and their peaceful application in Pakistan. It works towards developing indigenous capabilities in space technology and promoting space application for socio-economic uplift of the country.

Through its Institute of Space Technology, SUPARCO is offering several undergraduate and postgraduate programs including Engineering degrees in Aerospace, Electrical, Avionics, Mechanical and Material Science as well as non-Engineering degrees including Global Navigation Satellite System, Mathematics, Space Science, Astronomy and Astrophysics.
