Renunciation of Nationality

Pakistani citizens residing in Singapore who wish to renounce their Pakistani nationality must follow the official procedure prescribed by the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, Pakistan.

Required Procedures:

• Submission of the prescribed renunciation forms.
• Attachment of all original Pakistani passports and National Identity Cards (CNIC/NICOP).
• Proof of acquisition of foreign nationality or evidence of intention to acquire foreign nationality.
• Payment of the requisite processing fees as stipulated by the Government of Pakistan.

Applicants are advised to visit the High Commission of Pakistan in Singapore during consular hours to obtain the necessary forms and detailed guidelines regarding current requirements and documentation.

Note: Processing times for renunciation cases are governed by the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad, and the High Commission serves as a facilitating office for the collection and verification of documents.
