Pakistani diaspora should adhere to the following dos and don’ts in Singapore:
- Singapore is a small, multi-racial and multi-ethnic country where religious tolerance and racial harmony is strictly adhered to.
- Discussion on religion and politics at social gathering is not encouraged.
- Gatherings for political motives, protests, media campaigns and debates are legally prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited except at designated places.
- Chewing gum, spitting and littering public places is a legal offence.
- Possession, consumption or trafficking of drugs is a serious legal offence and carries death penalty.
- Traffic rules must be strictly followed.
- Though general crime rate is low, one should remain vigilant especially against cyber scams.
