Today, Pakistan mourns the loss of a distinguished diplomat, Riaz Hussain Khokhar, who dedicated almost four decades to the nation’s Foreign Service, leaving an indelible mark on Pakistan’s diplomatic history.
Serving as Foreign Secretary from 2002-2005, Ambassador Khokhar played a pivotal role in India-Pakistan talks, emphasizing inclusivity and dialogue. His ambassadorial roles in India, USA, and China are a showcase of his diplomatic finesse.
Whereas his departure is a great loss, let us also celebrate the life of Riaz Hussain Khokhar — a man whose legacy will endure as a beacon of hope for future generations.
