Supply of Medical Equipment to Pakistan to Combat Covid-19
The second consignment of medical equipment procured by Pakistani Diaspora in Singapore through a vigorous fundraising campaign, in coordination with Pakistan High Commission, has been shipped to Karachi today. The consignment carrying Personal Protective Equipment will reach Karachi in 10 days where it will be handed over to NDMA for distribution to our frontline healthcare professionals. The first consignment procured through generous support of Pakistani community in Singapore was dispatched to NDMA, Islamabad on 28 March 2020. The combined value of the two consignments carrying PPEs as per following details, is around S$ 178, 370 (PKR 20.898 million):

As the fight against Covid-19 continues, Pakistan High Commission hopes to receive unfettered support and assistance of Pakistani Diaspora for the Prime Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund, to mitigate the socioeconomic impact of this deadly virus.
